Animal Cruelty Conviction


A Fontana man who beat, tortured and poured hot water on his girlfriend’s blind pit bull was convicted of 2 counts of felony animal cruelty. He faces 7 years and 4 months in state prison. This case was prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney Debbie Ploghaus and the West Valley Division support staff.
