Alexander Desean Sammons was convicted by Rancho Cucamonga Prosecutor Jason Liso of robbing a Metro PCS store in Dec. 2011.

"The defendant robbed two helpless women one day, and one of the women again five days later; this time at knife point," said DDA Liso. “Not having this defendant in the public puts us one step closer toward a safer community.”

Hector Ivan Ronces, 19, of Fontana, has been charged with 1 count of murder and 6 counts of attempted murder for allegedly killing a 16-year-old girl at a park in Fontana.

DISTRICT ATTORNEY RELEASES PEACE OFFICER MEMORIAL VIDEO


SAN BERNARDINO, Calif.  – The San Bernardino County District Attorney announced the launch of a three-minute video today honoring the lives of peace officers who have died in the line of duty.

The video contains footage from the Annual Peace Officer Memorial ceremony held at the San Bernardino Police station May 31, 2012.

"Let us take time to honor our fallen officers, those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the name of public safety," said District Attorney Mike Ramos. "We will never forget. We will always remember our heroes."
